ABOUT

Business Owners and Operators of Monroe & Union County (BOOM-UC) Mission:

BOOM-UC (Business Owners and Operators of Monroe & Union County) is a community of local business owners and professionals committed to building authentic relationships, sharing real-world experiences, and helping one another grow. Through coffee, conversation, and collaborative learning, we create a welcoming space where members can exchange ideas, solve challenges, celebrate successes, and gain insight from the collective wisdom of their peers. Together, we strengthen our businesses, our relationships, and the Monroe and Union County communities we serve.

Our Next Chapter: Ascend704

BOOM-UC is taking a short hiatus as we prepare for our new home.

After three years of bringing Union County business owners together, BOOM-UC will resume gatherings in January 2027 at the new Ascend704 coworking space at South Piedmont Community College.

Our recent Coffee & Conversations format has created honest, useful conversations about the real challenges business owners face and how we can help one another solve them. We are excited to continue those conversations in this new space.
